Privacy Policy

I was bound to write that down eventually.

Cookies

When you're on this website, your browser has to store a cookie on your device to know your theme preferences and remember them across pages.
I never get to see them, it never leaves your device. If you want to delete it, just wipe your cookies in your browser settings.

Giscus

I did not want to store accounts and comments, so I just used Giscus for the blog.
Yes, I'm lazy.
If you log in with your account and post a comment, I can't manage them, they are stored on Github (so by Microsoft).
So if something is bothering you about your Github account on this website, ask questions to Microsoft. I'm not the boss here. I don't even know if this specific data stays in the EU.
Also, you can edit or delete your messages through Github by clicking on the comments count on top of any comment section.

Logs

I'm logging any connection on this website (IP address, consulted pages, user agent) to detect, bots, bugs, and hackers.
To stay GDPR-compliant, any connection log on this website is kept only 15 days and then gets lost in the limbo after this point.
They never leave my server. And sometimes I never read them :3

What I don't do

  • I'm not selling your data
  • I don't bet your data in a casino
  • I don't engrave your data in marble
  • I don't print your data on flyers to distribute them in the street
  • I don't leave your data unattended
  • I don't give your data toys with small parts
  • I don't do anything that could remotely harm you

Your rights

Thanks to the GDPR, you can ask to get your data:

  • Deleted
  • Rectified
  • Given to you in a readable format
  • Turned into dust

If you want to do so, just send me a message. Or just wait 15 days for them to disappear.
You can also contact the ICO/FTC/whatever if you want to be harsh.

Contact

If you want to ask me questions, give me feedback or send me a meme, all of my socials (mail, Discord...) are on top of the main page. I'll answer within a month.
Just open the side menu with the hamburger button.
